Established as Zenith Chemical Works
Established as Zenith Chemical Works sometime in the year 1923 by Mr. Kanitkar, who pioneered the manufacturing activities of the company in the city of Mumbai.
A Gold Medal for Quality
In the year 1936, a gold medal for quality and efficacy was awarded to the company’s product Drakshasava.
Incorporated Under the Indian Companies Act
In the Financial year 1943-44 the company was formally incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, VII of 1913 as Zenith Chemical Works Limited on 22nd May 1943 at Bombay by the Registrar of Companies.

On 23rd March 1958, Mr. Rambhai Govindbhai Patel (A young pharmacy graduate (B.Tech Pharma from UDCT) with dreams for the future and the courage and conviction to fulfill them) took over the reins of the company by acquiring the entire share capital of the company then registered as Zenith Chemical Works Pvt. Ltd.

In the year 1978, Mr. Apurva Rambhai Patel, our present Chairman, and Managing Director joined the company after his graduation in pharmacy from the very same institute as his father – UDCT.
